Ten4Care – Tendon Engineering: Todema joins TEN4CARE, the European project shaping the future of tendon rehabilitation.
TEN4CARE (Tendon Engineering for Comprehensive Advanced Rehabilitation and Enhancement) is a 48-month EU-funded Innovation Action under the Horizon Europe programme (Grant Agreement No. 101178590). The project brings together 16 partners from 7 countries with a shared mission: to revolutionise the treatment of tendon injuries through innovative, minimally invasive and personalised solutions.
The Kick-off Meeting was held at the University of Pavia on October 2–3, marking the official launch of this ambitious initiative funded with €7.9 million.

Todema is proud to contribute with its expertise in industrial automation, advanced mechanical design and digital engineering. Our work focuses on the development of an automated centrifugal spinning and yarning system and on the creation of a digital twin of the equipment with predictive process simulation. These contributions will support the scale-up of innovative technologies and help bridge the gap between laboratory research and industrial application.
